Delta-v is the ship's real budget: not how fast she is going, but how much she can still change that. Every burn draws it down, every resupply tops it back up. The line dips hard on the big burns and claws back between them.

Everything else on this board is downstream of this number. A ship with fuel has options; a ship without one is a station that drifts. When the budget sags, the crew starts saying no to burns.

Two reads in one: how long the drive was lit, and how hard. Long and gentle is a transit. Short and brutal is a fight or a flip-and-burn. The quiet watches never hit zero because station-keeping never stops.

Burn hours are what wears the ship out. Parts fail on the watches the crew spent in the crash couches, and the fault charts show it a watch or two later.

Bars above the line are watches where the ship put more in the tanks than it threw out the drive cone. Below the line means it spent down the reserve. A hard burn is unmistakable here.

The budget chart shows where the ship stands; this one shows which direction it is moving. Several negative watches in a row is the shape of a crew running from something.

Split three ways: contacts flagged hostile (drive plumes running dark), unknowns with no transponder and no answer to a hail, and contacts this ship hailed first. The dashed line is the trailing three-watch average, so a bar above it means a busier sky than the recent norm.

Unknowns are the steady background of the Belt and always will be. What matters is the mix: a watch where flagged contacts jump is a watch where somebody should be strapped into a couch.

Mostly zeroes, and that is the correct shape. The railgun is not standard to a Corvette-class light frigate — the crew added it — and it only comes out when torpedoes are gone or the target is armored enough to need it.

Every mark on this chart is a watch where things went badly wrong. The railgun is the answer to a problem nothing else on the ship could solve.

Six Nariman Dynamics 40mm cannons throwing tungsten. The hit fraction looks catastrophic until you remember what a PDC is for: filling a volume of space with metal so an incoming torpedo has to fly through it. Volume is the whole strategy.

This is the last layer between the crew and a torpedo. The ratio matters less than whether the guns had rounds left, which is why the crew counts them obsessively.

Two launchers, ten each, twenty total when full. Watch how fast the racks empty in an engagement and how slowly they refill — resupply for military ordnance is a favor somebody has to agree to do.

A corvette can burn through a full load in a single engagement. Torpedo count is the difference between having a real answer and having a very fast ship with nothing to shoot.

Bars are the count, the line is the rate. Count alone is misleading as the ship accumulates parts, so read the rate for whether things are actually getting worse.

The machine shop can fabricate a replacement for almost anything, given feedstock and time. The fault chart is really a chart of how much of both the crew is about to need.

New parts against aged stock, as rates rather than counts — the log records how often each band fails, not how many of each band there are. New stock loses this comparison in every watch of the log.

If aged parts ever start out-failing new ones, the problem is no longer break-in — it is the ship itself wearing out. This chart is the early warning for that crossover.

Vibration and thermal cycling dominate, which is what hard burns do to a hull. The interesting rows are at the bottom: the ones logged as unknown, and the ones an engineer took apart on purpose.

Fault counts say how much is breaking. Fault modes say whether the ship is being worn out by use or by something nobody has diagnosed yet.
